On 9 April 2019, the 21st China-EU Summit was held in Brussels. The EU-China partnership is to make the world stronger, safer, and more prosperous.
After signing a MoU with Italy, Chinese President Xi Jinping traveled to France where he met with president Macron to discuss about EU-China cooperation.
Wang Yi reaffirmed China’s commitment to the European partnership, and stressed that cooperation between the two regions is crucial for world stability.
Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met the leaders of the European Union in Beijing for the annual EU-China summit on July 16, 2018.
At the China-Europe meeting held in Brussels in early June 2017, Chinese Prime Minister Li Keqiang and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker called for more exchanges between the two regions and were fervent advocates of free trade. However, despite their
